CONmar’s Emergency Technical Support (CETS) complies with the relevant requirements of the Shipboard Oil Pollution Emergency Plan (SOPEP) as provided by the amendments of Annex 1, Ch.5 Regulation 37 (4), of MARPOL 73/78.
Through the CETS services, CONmar undertakes the responsibility to be at all times available to provide assistance for any registered vessel, whenever an emergency incident sets it under the threat of serious casualty or damage (e.g. collision, explosion, grounding etc.) so that to avoid or minimize the risk of cargo loss, marine pollution, total vessel’s loss.
An immediate response for the necessary actions to be undertaken will be given upon client’s request, on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week, any given day within the year, without exception.
All the calculations and computer simulations are performed using NAPA Software, a package of high credibility, wide market acceptance among both owners and shipyards, recognized and used by Classification Societies and major maritime organizations.
CONmar maintains a large database of ship 3D-models and respective documentation (drawings, plans, manuals, etc.) for the storage of all the necessary information and data concerning ship stability and strength in order to provide consultancy services about vessel’s damaged conditions during emergencies.
